Does WPC need painting, staining or sealing?

No. Boards come pre-coloured through the co-extruded cap layer. Routine cleaning is all that’s required — no ongoing coating.

With normal use and basic care, MexyTech decking is designed to last well over a decade, backed by our structural warranty.

UV protectants and the Surlyn cap layer keep colour stable. In accelerated weathering (2000h) our boards hold a grey-scale rating of 4.5.

We accept low-MOQ purchases and custom designs. Contact us with your project details for specific terms.

Sweep off debris and rinse with water. For most surfaces this is all the upkeep needed.

Spills

Spot Cleaning

Wipe food, oil or drink spills promptly with warm soapy water and a soft brush to prevent staining.

Deep Clean

Seasonal Wash

Once or twice a year, wash the full surface with a deck cleaner and soft-bristle brush along the grain.

  • Use warm water, mild soap and a soft-bristle brush.
  • Clean along the direction of the grain.
  • Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.
  • Address spills and stains quickly.
Don’t
  • Use a high-pressure washer at close range or high PSI.
  • Use metal brushes or abrasive scouring pads.
  • Apply harsh solvents or bleach undiluted.
  • Drag heavy sharp objects across the surface.
